The Nutritech Award – Innovation in Professional Kitchens was created to encourage innovation among nutrition professionals in the food service sector.
The goal is to recognize projects and initiatives that combine technology and nutrition to improve eating out. By honoring Adélia Chaves, a Nutrition and Dietetics Technician and a leading figure in foodservice, the award honors her legacy of innovation and excellence.
Our stellar panel of judges represents the biggest trends in kitchen innovation today and will be responsible for choosing the best projects:
Ivim Pelloso (president), Ana Paula Vaz, Daniel Castello, Dimas Oliveira and Renato Feroldi.
The initiative seeks to inspire creative solutions for health and sustainability, encouraging more professionals and companies to ask themselves "why not?" when faced with challenges and to use science, technology, and creativity as tools to generate positive and lasting change.

Nutritech Award
Healthy and Sustainable Technological Innovation in Professional Kitchens
Organized by: Nutrilover | Award ceremony: Nutrilover Symposium 2025 - BRASILITIES
1. OBJECTIVE
The Nutritech Adélia Chaves Award aims to recognize, value, and reward technological innovations implemented by nutritionists and nutrition and dietetics technicians in professional kitchens, with a focus on health, sustainability, and operational efficiency.
2. WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
Nutritionists and Nutrition and Dietetics Technicians (TNDs) in regular practice, duly registered in the CRN/CFN system, in commercial restaurants, UANs, hospital, school, institutional, or industrial kitchens.
- It is important that the location of the CRN registration be indicated on the application.
- The award ceremony will take place in São Paulo/SP, and travel and accommodation costs for the finalists are their responsibility.
3. REGISTRATION AND SUBMISSION OF PROJECTS Projects must be submitted exclusively through the portal www.nutrilover.com.br/nutritech.
Deadline for submission: September 2, 2025, by 11:59 p.m. (Brasília time).
- Registration is free of charge
- Projects must be authored by the registered participant.
- The innovative nature of the project must be associated with kitchen technology, whether in equipment and/or supplies and/or practices and procedures.
4. REGISTRATION FORMATer
The project must be registered directly on the form available on the website, containing the following mandatory information:
- Participant identification (full name, CRN or professional registration, place of work);
- Title of the innovation;
- Detailed description of the technological solution applied in the professional kitchen;
- Name(s) of the technology(ies) used, including brand/type/model or other information that allows the innovative standard to be recognized (this information will be hidden during the evaluation phase);
- Period of implementation of the innovation (start date and duration);
- Motivations for the innovation and challenges faced;
- Results obtained to date (qualitative and/or quantitative);
- Positive impacts observed to date or expected, such as waste reduction, energy efficiency, process optimization, increased food safety, etc.;
- Final considerations.

5. EVALUATION CRITERIA
Projects will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Clarity and consistency in the presentation of the proposal;
- Degree of technological innovation;
- Impact on health, sustainability, and process improvement;
- Practical applicability.
6. EVALUATION PROCESS
The evaluation committee will be composed of five experts in the field: Ivim Pelloso (chair), Ana Paula Vaz, Daniel Castello, Dimas Oliveira, and Renato Feroldi.
The trademarks mentioned in the projects will be omitted during the evaluation to ensure impartiality.
Finalists will be announced on September 7, 2025, by email and on Nutrilover's official social media channels.
7. AWARDS CEREMONY
The awards ceremony will take place in person on September 9, 2025, during the Brasilidades 2025 Symposium – Brasilities, at SENAI BIOTECNOLOGIA.
Awards:
- Top 3 finalists: certificate + prize box + featured on the event's official social media and channels.
- 1st place: INDIVIDUAL SPECIALIZED mentoring with the SENAI Alimentos team, with a choice of proposed topics (process innovation, sustainability, certifications, food safety, etc.).
- Each finalist may bring up to three guests to the Symposium.
8. FINAL
1. Participants authorize the use of their data and image in post-event material.
2. Participants authorize the use of project information (with the exception of trademarks) for academic, institutional, and best practice dissemination.
3. Omissions will be reviewed by the award organizers.
4. This award is intended for nutrition professionals working in the field of UAN.
